Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a positive and supportive atmosphere for patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity while assisting with daily activities and vital signs. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding to promote independence and well-being Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner Support patient mobility with equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer techniques following aseptic procedures Administer medications under supervision and assist with medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff or physicians Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy (blood draws), and wound care in various clinical settings including ICU, emergency departments, or outpatient clinics Requirements Valid CNA certification from an accredited program; current state licensure required Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice care, or outpatient clinics Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for patient safety Prior experience with critical care areas such as ICU or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Strong communication skills to collaborate seamlessly within multidisciplinary teams and provide excellent patient service Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Join us if you're passionate about delivering compassionate care across a variety of healthcare settings!
