Overview We are seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Certified Nursing Assistant, also referred to as a Med-Surg Tele PCU Nursing Assistant. The Med-Surg/Tele/PCU Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient safety for adults recovering from surgeries or illnesses while on heart monitors. They play a critical role in observing patients, reporting changes, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment to promote recovery.

Under RN supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe environment. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Help patients maintain their personal hygiene and comfort by assisting with daily tasks they may struggle with due to illness or weakness (such as bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting) Monitor and document vital signs like blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature which helps the healthcare team track patient progress and detect early signs of decline or improvement Help with patient mobility by assisting with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation to prevent complications and help with circulation Observe patients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing staff Supporting basic medical procedures under nurse supervision, such as collecting specimens or helping with wound care Maintain a clean and safe environment, including infection control measures Qualifications Education and Work Experience Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.

You must have:

Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Possess knowledge of Medical Terminology Additional Qualifications That Are a

Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current Full benefits at
