CNA/Caregiver Job Summary This is a parttime position. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CNA/Caregiver to join our home health care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients, particularly in senior care and geriatrics. The CNA/Caregiver will work closely with staff to deliver high-quality care while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining a safe environment for all patients. Must be able to work 10 hours including weekends. Position is located in Helena, AL. Serious inquiries only please. This role would be perfect for a retired person looking for extra income. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse. Provide support for behavioral health needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Help with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility or home community care settings. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas. Document patient care activities accurately in health records. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress. Support individuals with disabilities by providing personalized assistance as required. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required. Familiarity with geriatric care practices is advantageous. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. A background in behavioral health or home community care is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and patience.
