Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant/LPN to join our growing Dermatology Clinic with multiple locations in Northwest Arkansas. The ideal candidate is a pleasant, energetic, team player who will provide vital support in a fast-paced environment
Duties:
- Scribe during examinations.
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing excellent patient care and treatment.
- Prepare patients and assist in examinations and procedures.
- Take patient medical history and vital signs.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare provider.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
- Assist with patient education and follow up care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up to date medical records.
- Send in prescriptions as needed
- Send referrals to outside providers as needed
- Call patients with lab results, pathology results, and doctor responses to telephone encounters
- Send telephone encounters to appropriate person to respond
- Answer phone calls, check voicemails
- Answer patient questions and appropriately document in patient's chart
- Receive supplies and help order supplies as needed
