PCA/CNA Independence At Home, LLC Van Buren, AR Job Details Part-time | Full-time $13 - $15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Oral hygiene Toileting assistance Caregiving Dishwashing Personal grooming assistance Meal preparation Care plan implementation Bathing assistance Meal assistance Patient observation Full Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide non-medical, in-home care services to clients in accordance with Arkansas state guidelines. The PCA will assist clients with activities of daily living while promoting independence, dignity, and comfort in the home. This position is non-skilled and does not include medical or nursing services.
Responsibilities:
Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Provide medication reminders only (no administration) Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, dishes, bed making) Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with errands and transportation (if applicable) Observe and report changes in client condition to supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum age: 18 years old Previous PCA or caregiving experience preferred (not required) Ability to follow care plans and agency policies Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required for the position) Ability to pass Arkansas state and federal background checks Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Training & Compliance:
Orientation and training provided in accordance with Arkansas non-skilled home care regulations Must complete all required agency training prior to providing care
Schedule:
Day, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts available
