8:00 AM•4:00 PM Friday & Saturday River Park Post Acute is looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a Shower Aide on Friday and Saturday. This is a great opportunity for a CNA who enjoys providing hands-on care and making a direct impact on residents' comfort, dignity, and quality of life. In this role, you will primarily assist residents with showers, hygiene needs, feeding assistance, and evening ADL support while working closely with our nursing team. In this vital role, you will provide personalized bathing and grooming assistance, ensuring a safe, respectful, and positive experience for individuals in our long-term care, assisted living, or memory care facilities. Duties Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and hygiene routines while respecting their privacy and preferences Ensure resident safety during showering and grooming activities by following proper procedures and using assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts when necessary Maintain a clean and sanitized environment in accordance with infection control protocols, including proper aseptic techniques Observe and report any changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly Document care provided accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality at all times Support residents with mobility challenges using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts Qualifications Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent credential required Prior experience in long-term care, assisted living, memory care, or hospital settings preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and basic anatomy is highly desirable Familiarity with infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and patient safety standards Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs is a plus Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with healthcare team members Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and attention to detail Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing essential personal care that enhances our residents' quality of life.
