• Night Shift at Lower Buckeye Jail Infirmary CHS is seeking a highly qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our esteemed team at the Lower Buckeye Jail (LBJ) Infirmary.

Pay Rate:

$20

• 22/hr

Opening:

1-NIGHT opening (WOC)

Commitment:

Must commit to 3x12-hour shifts weekly for a minimum of 13 weeks.

Location:

Lower Buckeye Jail (LBJ), in the Infirmary.

Note:

No floating to other jails . Service Description (Key Responsibilities) The CNA performs duties within the scope of practice under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel to ensure quality patient care.

Duties include:

Completing required documentation in the electronic health record or other modality. Preparing patients for examination and treatment, taking patient histories, vital signs, and recording chief complaints. Performing office procedures, tests, and examinations. Maintaining adequate supplies for exam/procedure rooms. Transcribing provider orders and scheduling return appointments. Performing venipunctures and lab tests. Assisting patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Mandatory Qualifications & Supporting Documentation Candidates must meet the following qualifications and provide copies of the required documentation: Current, valid, unrestricted license as a CNA issued by the Arizona State Board of Nursing

• OR•issued by a participating Compact State.

Minimum one year of past work experience in this position. Current, completed PSV from the National Council of State Boards of Nursing, obtainable via: https://azbn.boardsofnursing.org/licenselookup. Current, completed fit testing for N95 particulate respirators. Current, completed First Aid Certification.
