Job Description

CNA | Veterans Home All About People is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a long-term care Veterans facility. Candidates must be available to work weekends and follow a block-booked schedule. This position offers 12-hour shifts in a supportive healthcare environment focused on quality resident care.
Schedule:
Both shifts available
Day Shift:
6:00 AM - 6:30
PM Night Shift:
6:00 PM - 6:30 AM 12-hour shifts Block booking schedule required Alternating weeks: Week 1: 36 hours Week 2: 48 hours Weekend availability is mandatory Job Responsibilities Assist Veterans/Members with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, grooming, transfers, and ambulation. Support residents with mobility exercises and range-of-motion activities following nursing instructions. Assist nursing staff with basic medical procedures and treatments. Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and mental conditions. Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and specimen collection as directed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation. Assist residents during mealtimes, including transporting to dining areas and helping with feeding when necessary. Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights while ensuring resident dignity and comfort. Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident environments. Assist nurses during emergency situations according to facility procedures. Provide transportation assistance for appointments and perform occasional clerical duties as needed. Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and Arizona Management System (AMS) processes. Qualifications Active CNA Certification required Current CPR/BLS Certification Ability to work effectively in a long-term care environment Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion while caring for Veterans/Members Weekend availability required Required Compliance Documents Candidates must provide: Updated Resume Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card 7-Year Background Check including OIG/SAM clearance CPR/BLS Card TB Skin Test Active CNA License/Certification Skills Assessment Checklist Hepatitis B Vaccination or Declination Form Competency Tests Drug Test COVID Vaccination Card Food Handler's Card APS Documentation Join a team dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our Veterans while working in a rewarding and stable healthcare environment. #IND2
