The successful candidate will be an integral member of our midwifery team, contributing to delivering exceptional client care. This role necessitates a solid knowledge of natural childbirth and the capability to monitor client vital signs, maintain accurate records, and perform various client care responsibilities. Responsibilities Assist in client assessments by gathering vital signs and health history. Maintain and record accurate client records. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support client care initiatives. Utilize knowledge of medication administration and equipment to assist in various procedures. Organize and sanitize supplies and equipment for efficient operation. Other tasks as assigned Skills Knowledgeable about out-of-hospital birth, reproductive health, pregnancy, labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care. Able to work well in stressful situations with a diverse population of clients. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to achieve optimal client outcomes. Current BLS or must be obtained upon hire Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Training or must be obtained upon hire. Ideal candidates should possess experience as a birth assistant, doula, nursing or midwifery student, or as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN). While prior experience is preferred, we are open to training the right individual. Candidates must be available to attend and engage in meetings and ongoing training as required or requested by the supervisor or midwife.
Hours :
This position requires working days, nights, and weekends and includes on-call time, clinic days, and home visits.Job Types:
