Nurse Aide in
Training Starting Pay:
$18.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Nurse Aides in Training. This role is designed for individuals preparing to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, trainees will receive hands-on clinical experience and structured classroom instruction to develop the skills necessary to provide high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in healthcare and long-term care services. Key Responsibilities Participate in a state-approved CNA training program provided by the facility or affiliated institution Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing, under supervision Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff Support meal service, including feeding assistance and hydration Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents Learn and adhere to infection control and safety protocols Assist with resident mobility, positioning, and comfort Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete coursework Provide care with compassion, respect, and professionalism Work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team Qualifications Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred Enrollment in or eligibility for a state-approved CNA training program Demonstrated interest in healthcare, nursing, or long-term care Ability to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift frequently throughout shifts Assist residents with transfers and mobility support Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Capability to respond quickly in a fast-paced care environment Work Environment This position is based in a skilled nursing facility where employees interact closely with residents, staff, and families.
