Business Office Payroll Assistant (Skilled Nursing) Northridge Care Center - 3.0 Porter Ranch, CA Job Details Full-time $23 - $26 an hour 20 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk / Business Office Assistant to support payroll, billing, and administrative operations in our skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, customer-service focused, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Qualifications High school diploma required; Accounting, Finance, or Business coursework preferred Experience in payroll, administrative support, or business office operations preferred Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility 1-2 years Experience with ADP payroll systems and Microsoft Excel preferred Skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare experience a plus Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Professional demeanor and attention to detail Responsibilities Process payroll and maintain employee timekeeping records Review payroll data and resolve discrepancies Monitor attendance, overtime, missed punches, and meal breaks Assist with workers' compensation claims and employee records Support insurance verification, billing, and accounts receivable functions Reconcile petty cash and maintain financial records Manage filing, documentation, data entry, and general office duties Answer phones and provide administrative support to the management team Perform additional duties as assigned Preferred Skills Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medi-Cal, or insurance billing Experience with resident trust accounts and collections Bilingual abilities are a plus
Compensation:
