- A Brief Overview
- The Lead Operating Room Assistant (ORA) is responsible for organizing and supervising the daily work activities of the orderlies (day or evening), assuring that the daily tasks of the ORA's are completed thoroughly and accurately.
Other duties include:
orientation and mentoring of staff, problem-solving equipment issues, providing feedback for employee evaluations and budget and assisting in the Quality Improvement Process.- Locations

- + Able to perform all the duties assigned to Operating Room Assistants (ORA's).
- Education Qualifications
- + High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience Qualifications
- + One (1) year of directly related work experience
- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- + Ability to be flexible in assignment and able to work different shifts if required + Ability to demonstrate customer service skills in interactions with all patients, families and staff, including high volume and stressful situations + Ability to learn and evaluate new equipment and procedures quickly + Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information + Ability to problem-solve effectively using appropriate resources.

Base Pay Scale:
Generally starting at $36.73 - $41.19 per hour The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
