Caregiver or CNA

Poway Adult Day Health Care Center is seeking an energetic, caring and compassionate team player who love working with seniors in a diverse cultural setting. Experience with dementia care is a plus. Day time hours only (Program Hours are 8:00am-3:30pm)(Hours potentially available from 7:30am-4:00pm as needed). Starting rate of pay is negotiable based on experience and hours/days of availability. We are currently looking to hire someone that is available to work part- time for Monday/Tuesday/Thursday shifts. For CNA's who have prior experience working in a SNF, this model of care is an attractive alternative. No weekends or overnight hours required and a consistent regular shift schedule. Job Duties:

Assist with toileting participants Prep and serve continental breakfast (toast, fruit, coffee, nuts, cheese) Assist with running program activities (bingo, exercise, table activities, etc) Complete required charting/documentation Assist with clean up throughout the day Assist with ambulation and transfers Monitor the activity floor for participant issues Assist with front desk support (answering phone, checking in participants, etc)

Pay:

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
