Caregiver / CNA / Companion — Hot Meal Delivery to Patient Myles-Davis Healthcare Consulting Riverside, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $50 a day 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Courier driving Client rapport building English Full Job Description Overview I'm looking for a reliable, punctual, and friendly person to bring hot meals to my mother, who is currently a patient at a hospital in Loma Linda. She is on a regular diet but is unable to eat the hospital food, so timely delivery of hot, fresh meals is essential. I will place and pay for each food order; you will pick it up locally and deliver it to her promptly so it arrives hot. This role may grow into a longer-term caregiving position during her hospital stay and after her discharge in the near future, so I'm hoping to find someone who is a great fit beyond just the meal deliveries Duties Pick up food locally (I place and pay for the order) and deliver it promptly so it stays hot. Check in at the hospital front desk using her name and state you are there to see her. Sign in on her floor, go to her room, and wash or sanitize your hands visibly upon arrival. Set up and prepare the meal for her. Take a few minutes to speak warmly with her and get to know her. Requirements Must live locally (so the food stays hot during delivery). A reliable vehicle is required. Fluent English — you will be communicating directly with her. Punctual and dependable — it is imperative that meals arrive on time and hot. Friendly, warm, and pleasant demeanor. An insulated heating bag is a plus (prior DoorDash or food-delivery experience is great); I can provide a bag if you don't have one. References available upon request. Willing to complete a background check (after the screening interview). Registration with California's TrustLine caregiver registry (trustline.org) is a plus.
