Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Staffing Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to join our healthcare team. This dual-role position is vital in ensuring efficient staffing operations and providing administrative support to our healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will coordinate nursing schedules, manage staffing needs, and handle essential administrative tasks to maintain smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to patient care quality while supporting a dynamic and collaborative work environment. Duties Under the general direction of Nursing Administration Management, the Nursing Staffer is responsible for ensuring adequate bedside staffing based on the patient acuity system. The role involves maintaining accurate personnel records in the ANSOS database, verifying staff credentials, and coordinating scheduling to meet clinical needs. The Nursing Staffer also provides support for other administrative tasks as requested, ensuring smooth operations across nursing units.
Staffing Coordination:
Provide bedside staff coverage according to patient acuity requirements.
Database Management:
Accurately maintain personnel records in ANSOS and ensure staff credentials are up to date.
Credential Verification:
Confirm that all working staff have required licenses and certifications on file.
Administrative Support:
Perform additional duties as requested by Nursing Administration Management.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to hospital policies and staffing standards .
MUST HAVE
1+ year of Clinical Scheduling and Staffing experience in a hospital Should have Medical and hospital environment experience Experience working with scheduling Applications Must have access to reliable transportation Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
Pay:
$36.00 - $39.00 per hour
Experience:
Clinical Scheduling and Staffing in a hospital: 1 year (Required)
