Job Description

San Jose Behavioral Health Center is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to addressing the needs of individuals with mental illness. Our experienced staff is committed to helping patients manage their illness so that it doesn't manage them. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, personality disorder, and schizophrenia. With a safe and secure environment, we help our patients achieve their personal best. Our goal is to promote the highest quality of life and mental health services through staff education, training, incentives, and open communication. Join us in making life fuller, richer, and more stable for all residents. We are looking for on-call caring and dedicated CNAs for AM shift (7AM-3PM) & PM shift (3PM-11PM). Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans. Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments. Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor. Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
Current CA nursing assistant certification Current CPR and first aid certifications a plus Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting We offer: Competitive Compensation Professional Growth & Stability We are committed to providing high-quality care to our residents, and we believe that our staff is our most valuable asset.
