Help your clients get exercise from taking a walk to helping with washing dishes, the more valued they feel and more activities they can participate in the healthier they become. Providing care according to the client's Plan of Care. Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) tasks, including but not limited to: Bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, incontinence care, toileting, menu planning, meal preparation, and feeding. Light housekeeping including linen changes, and keeping their home clean and clutter free to reduce the risk of falls. Provide transportation to doctor appointments, social activities, outdoor activities, and shopping. Delivering exceptional care to the client in their home. Complete daily tasks in a safe and professional manner. Provide personal companionship, remaining actively engaged with each client by providing ongoing social & emotional support. Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times. Complete administrative functions such as documentation of completion of tasks, and reporting changes in the client's physical condition, mental capability or behavior. You're Role
