Job Description:
The primary role of the Rehab Aide is to aid in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care and support services under the direct supervision of licensed Therapists. Contribute to the overall positive image of the organization department. Ensures that all required documentation and required forms are appropriately completed included in patient charts. Essential Duties (include but are not limited to): Assists with and performs routine assigned physical and occupational therapy treatments; demonstrating knowledge of treatment goals and precautions in order to assist with or treat patients. Follows all safety regulations, protocols, policies and procedures. Maintains safety and cleanliness of work area and equipment. Communicates with facility staff. Confers with therapists to establish efficient treatment schedules. Transports, transfers and facilitates patient care as directed by therapists. High School graduate C.N.A License is preferred. Able to communicate in the English both verbally and in writing. Completion of an on-the-job orientation and training program or demonstrates competency in each of the designated areas.
