Certified Nursing Assistant - Night Shift

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team at Columbine West Health and Rehab. This vital role involves providing high-quality patient care in a long term care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in patient support, medical procedures, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Experience with EMR/EHR systems, medical documentation, and specialized care such as Alzheimer's, dementia, or behavioral health is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report any abnormalities to nursing staff. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infection and ensure patient safety. Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or behavioral health needs. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Experience Prior experience in long term care is preferred. Experience working with geriatrics, behavioral health patients, or those with dementia is advantageous.

Pay:

$22.00 - $29.00 per hour
