• Saturday 8a-8p The PACE Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) are responsible for providing the highest quality of skilled and non-skilled care in the day center, or in the community where the participants live.

The CNA will follow the established plan-of-care for each participant that may include ADL activities, meal preparation, monitoring vital signs, and communicating any concerns or changes to the proper IDT member. What is PACE? PACE or Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly is a federal and state funded program that provides comprehensive, coordinated, and proactive whole-person care to help maintain and improve seniors' health so they can live safely in their homes. There are 180 PACE programs, serving more than 80,700 participants in 33 states. The number of people aged 55+ is increasing in Grand Junction, CO and the demand for eldercare professionals is on the rise.

What You Bring:

Current Colorado CNA License Valid Colorado Driver's license, adequate automobile insurance and reliable transportation, if providing care in the community setting Experience working with older adults Proficient in computer programs, particularly Microsoft office products. Current CPR certification is maintained throughout employment. Ability to learn EMR charting systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effectively and respectfully communicate both verbally and in writing in a multitude of situations and settings, including highly emotional interactions.
