Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide essential direct patient care, support clinical staff, and promote a safe, comfortable environment for individuals across various care settings. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Take and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Monitor patient conditions closely, noting changes in behavior or physical health, especially in dementia or Alzheimer's care cases Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, phlebotomy preparation, and basic life support during emergencies Document patient interactions thoroughly in medical records while respecting HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in settings like ICU, emergency medicine, behavioral health, or post-acute care environments to deliver comprehensive patient service Requirements Valid CNA certification recognized by the state or jurisdiction where you will work Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and vital signs measurement techniques Prior experience in long-term care facilities like nursing homes or assisted living communities is highly desirable Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments such as Level I Trauma Centers or ICU units with Level II trauma experience preferred Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach toward geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, or home & community care settings Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist patients with mobility using lifts or other equipment Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare teams and provide exceptional patient service Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering outstanding patient-centered care.
