In Home Care Thornton, CO Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday | 9:00 AM-5:30
PM Contract Length:
3 Months We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home care services to elderly and frail participants throughout the Thornton, CO area. This role focuses on assisting individuals with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence in the home setting. This is a great opportunity for CNAs who enjoy one-on-one patient interaction and making a direct impact in the lives of seniors. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility Provide restorative and supportive care including ambulating, positioning, transferring, skin care, and oxygen assistance Monitor and document participant health status including vital signs, weight, appetite, skin condition, and changes in functional ability Report concerns, changes in condition, accidents, or unusual occurrences to clinical supervisors promptly Assist with meal support and feeding when necessary Perform household services essential to patient care in the home Complete visit documentation accurately and in a timely manner Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team collaboration Attend required trainings, in-services, and continuing education programs Follow established care plans, policies, and safety procedures Requirements Current and valid Colorado CNA certification Current BLS and First Aid certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted) Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly or frail populations High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience) Preferred Qualifications Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply Previous in-home care or home health experience preferred Additional Information Full-time contract opportunity Consistent weekday schedule Opportunity to work independently while providing meaningful patient care Mileage/reliable transportation required due to home visits Apply today to join a team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to seniors in the community. #
