Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as an Experience Caregiver (PCA/HHA/CNA) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring compassionate, professional care. Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time opportunities, this role offers a dynamic environment where your skills in patient observation, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and providing specialized care are highly valued. You will deliver personalized support in home and community settings, ensuring clients feel safe, comfortable, and empowered every day. This position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and a genuine passion for caregiving, all while offering paid employment with opportunities for growth and development. Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies. Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Administer medications accurately following medical documentation protocols and respecting HIPAA privacy standards. Support clients with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, light cleaning, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Use electronic health record (EHR) or electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document patient care activities thoroughly and accurately. Perform vital signs assessments including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates; report findings to healthcare professionals as needed. Assist with specialized care needs such as catheter care, hospice support, dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Operate medical equipment safely and competently while adhering to all safety protocols. Support clients during outings or community activities to promote independence and social engagement. Maintain clear communication with healthcare teams regarding patient progress and any concerns observed during caregiving shifts. Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies or similar environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with seniors and individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to caregiving roles; familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. Experience using EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation is desirable but not mandatory—training will be provided. Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism under HIPAA regulations. Long-term care experience that includes assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation is highly valued. Certification such as CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), HHA (Home Health Aide), PCA (Personal Care Aide), or equivalent are preferred. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in home & community settings; flexibility for live-in employment options is available. Join us in delivering exceptional care that enriches lives! We're committed to supporting our caregivers through ongoing training opportunities and fostering a positive work environment where your dedication makes a real difference every day.
