Qualified Certified Nursing Assistants will work under the supervisor of their Charge Nurse while providing safe, comfortable, and compassionate care. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide support in mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Maintain patient hygiene and assist with catheter care as needed. Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) Communicate effectively with healthcare team members regarding patient needs Engage with patients to promote emotional well-being Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Current and valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the State of CT Experience in short and long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and physiology knowledge is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team system
