U-Turn Health — Caregivers / HHAs / PCAs / CNAs / Companions (Plainville, CT Area) U-Turn Health is hiring dependable Caregivers, Home Health Aides (HHA), Personal Care Assistants (PCA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and Companions for in-home care positions serving adults in Plainville and nearby Connecticut towns. What You'll Do Support Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility assistance. Assist with Instrumental ADLs (IADLs): meal prep, medication reminders, light housekeeping, laundry, errands/grocery shopping, and appointment transportation. Provide companionship and safety supervision — conversation, activities, walks, and regular check-ins. Are reliable, compassionate, and patient — and treat clients like family. Have experience as a Caregiver, HHA, PCA, DSP, CNA, Companion, Home Care Aide, Resident Assistant, or Direct Care Worker (all backgrounds welcome). Are open to training — we'll train motivated, dependable candidates who want to grow in home care. Have reliable transportation to reach client homes in and around Plainville. Can use a smartphone to clock in/out, view care plans, and complete visit notes. Are comfortable working independently while following agency policies and state regulations. Programs & Clients We Serve We provide non-medical home care through Connecticut Medicaid Waiver programs (ABI II, PCA Waiver, CHCPE, Foster/FMLA, and related CT home- and community-based services) as well as private-pay clients needing companionship, personal care, and household support. You'll gain hands-on experience with a variety of complex care needs in one-on-one home settings. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in home care, home health, assisted living, group homes, residential programs, or nursing facilities. CNA, HHA, PCA, or other caregiving certification/experience (formal or informal family caregiving counts). Ability to pass background checks and meet Connecticut state requirements.
