Pay Rate:

Dayshift Med Tech:
$20/hr Dayshift $2/hr shift differential on weekends. Job Description The Certified Nursing Assistant supports residents with their activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, assistance with transfers/transportation, and assistance with eating. The CNA is responsible for treating every resident with respect and dignity. We are currently looking to hire care givers who want to make a positive impact on the lives of those within the Traumatic Brian Injury community. Job Requirements CNA:
Reports directly to the LPN and Nursing Supervisor, with additional oversight from the Director of Nursing. Provides assistance with bathing, grooming, showering, dressing, incontinence, oral hygiene, and other ADL's and IADL's Provides assistance with serving meals and assisting residents with eating when applicable Collect food orders from residents, as needed Wash all dishes after meals and assist dietary department with cleaning up Clean dining area after each use, and before each use Assist with setting up resident meals with utensils and napkins Provides assistance with transfers, ambulating, and transportation Assists the Therapy Department on Structured Day Trips and Activities/Groups when assigned Assists residents with cleaning rooms, changing linens, and laundry Turn and re-positions residents with mobility needs (when applicable) Provides 1:1 Assistance to residents when assigned Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures, as well as the employee handbook Protects organization's values by keeping patient information confidential Attends all necessary in-serving and trainings (mandatory) Complete daily CNA documentation as assigned Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor Medicine Technician
LLAM-CNA
Assists licensed nursing staff by administering daily medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with established nursing standards, facility policies and procedures and state requirements. Treats co-workers, residents, and families with a high level of respect and dignity. Delivers routine daily oral, inhalation, nasal, optic, vaginal, rectal, and topical medications to residents using the medication administration record (MAR) with oversight of a licensed nurse unless otherwise allowed by state law. Communicates exclusively with the licensed nurse regarding all medication matters. Checks with Registered Nurse, Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing, and/or Director of Nursing for medication updates and reads the daily log immediately after speaking with the supervisor. Reviews Medication Administration Record (MAR), and records medication administration according to company policies and procedures. Ensures confidentiality of resident medication among other residents. Promptly notifies the licensed nurse of any medication errors, omissions, refusals, and side effects. Performs tasks associated with medication administration, including weights, vital signs, and stocking of the medication carts. Practices safe handling and storage of medications while maintaining orderliness and cleanliness of medication cart; restocks medication cart with cups and spoons after all medication passes are completed. Observes residents for changes, issues, incidental occurrences, medication concerns or adverse drug reactions, reports promptly to licensed nurse and documents accordingly. Responds to all call bells, other resident requests, and takes appropriate action. Assists in answering incoming telephone calls in a professional manner. Participates in in-services, projects, or committees, assists with quality assurance programs, and training of new staff as assigned. Perform all other duties as assigned.
