Full Job Description Duties:

• Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Administer medication under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Knowledge of dementia care and experience working with patients with dementia is a plus
• Experience in providing hospice care or working in an assisted living facility is beneficial

Skills:

• Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics
• Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and recording them appropriately
• Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care and build rapport with patients
• Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals
