Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in various shifts, including 7-3, 3-11, weekend doubles, and PRN opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for patient care, with experience across diverse healthcare settings. Duties Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates using Point Click Care (PCC). Assist with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral health interventions. Operate patient lifts such as Hoyer lifts safely to prevent injury and promote resident comfort. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Document all patient interactions accurately within PCC. Experience Prior experience working as a CNA in long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or hospitals is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification is required. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is valued. Experience in hospice or post-acute care settings will be considered an asset. Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities ensure compassionate resident interactions.
