Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. SHIFT:

11pm/7am Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medical staff by preparing patients for examinations or procedures, including assisting with medical documentation and specimen collection such as phlebotomy Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring safety and engagement through memory care techniques Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to safely transfer patients with limited mobility Maintain aseptic techniques during wound care, catheter care, and other procedures to prevent infection Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly to the healthcare team, ensuring timely intervention Qualifications Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations Experience working in various healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, emergency medicine, Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, or assisted living communities Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) procedures Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation Experience providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is a plus Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings like critical care units or urgent care environments Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients of all ages including pediatrics and geriatrics Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Join us in making a difference by delivering compassionate patient-centered care!
