Overview:
In the role of the C.N.A. will attend to the client's activities of daily living, medication reminders of seniors and disabilities while maintaining their home environment that is clean, safe, and orderly. This position is intended to enhance the quality of life
  • long term while decreasing rehospitalizations which is the MISSION of this company.

Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant. Or Home Health Aide CPR (must have face-to face) and First Aide certification or eligible. If applicable, Medication Administration Certificate Recent PPD test Recent Physical Valid driver's license Own car insurance A presentable and reliable vehicle is required for this position.

Weekends Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
Senior care: Minimal full 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
CNA License (Preferred) Assist elderly or disabled adults with daily living activities at the person's home.
Duties include:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment Conversations, companionship, and mental stimulation Medication monitoring and reminders Preparation of meals, laundry, and household chores Accompanying to outings Assisting with the activities of daily living (ADLs) when the patient is unable to complete an activity due to cognitive impairment, functional disability, physical health problems, or safety. Personal Care
  • bathing Assisting with personal hygiene, ambulation and dressing Prepping breakfast, lunch and snacks Sometimes Transportation Stabilizing the client when walking, as needed-working with their gait
