Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HHA/CNA to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice care. We offer benefits and bonuses. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning tailored to individual dietary needs. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in health or behavior to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens. Collaborate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care, senior care, or hospice care preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare team. Ability to cook and prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences of clients. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong observational skills to monitor client conditions and report changes accurately. Must be physically capable of lifting clients as required and assisting with mobility tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and patience in all interactions. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
