to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospice care, and memory care units. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for our patients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Responsibilities Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance. Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety. Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff. Support patients with daily living activities such as eating, toileting, and laundry tasks. Observe and report on patient conditions, including any changes in behavior or health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Engage with patients in meaningful ways to promote emotional well-being and social interaction. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or as a Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the healthcare team. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of hospice care practices and memory care techniques is desirable. Ability to perform basic cooking tasks for patients as needed.
