Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to children across various settings, including hospitals, clinics, and community-based environments. Duties Assist pediatric patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times Monitor vital signs and observe changes in patient conditions, promptly reporting any concerns to nursing staff Support medical procedures by preparing supplies, maintaining aseptic technique, and assisting with equipment like Hoyer lifts or pediatric IV setups Document patient care activities accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, adhering to HIPAA regulations Provide emotional support and reassurance to children and their families, fostering a caring environment that encourages trust and cooperation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive care tailored to each child's needs Qualifications Valid Pediatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from an accredited program Experience working with children in settings such as hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, or home care environments Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation Experience with specialized pediatric procedures including catheter care, phlebotomy, or use of assistive devices like Hoyer lifts Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Join us in delivering exceptional pediatric care where your skills can truly impact young lives!
