Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Homemakers, and Companions to provide exceptional in-home care to individuals across diverse settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of healthcare practices. We are hiring Home Health Aides (HHA) , Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) , and Homemakers/Companions to provide high-quality, in-home care services to clients throughout Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and document patient observations including vital signs, medication administration, and changes in health status using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or Medical Documentation protocols. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. Assist with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice support, catheter care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities. Follow healthcare plans meticulously while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality. Utilize medical terminology accurately when documenting care activities or communicating with healthcare professionals. Operate medical equipment safely, including blood pressure cuffs, thermometers, and other monitoring devices. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care in home or assisted living settings. Qualifications Prior experience in home health care, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or long-term care environments is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic nursing procedures such as catheter care is essential. Certification as an HHA or CNA is required. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient records and medical history. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's disease or dementia is advantageous. Certification in CPR & First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or dementia care are a plus, Zero Tolerance (Abuse, Neglect & Exploitation, Infection Control, Client Rights, Behavior Management, Safety & Emergency Procedures. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of patient care. Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in health status promptly. Ability to perform caregiving tasks independently while maintaining professionalism and compassion. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients' families and healthcare teams. Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours based on client needs; a valid driver's license is often required for community-based services.
