Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and meal preparation. Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments through tailored activities and compassionate engagement. Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient care activities, vital signs, and observations while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to enhance their quality of life. Uphold infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment). Experience/Skills Experience in caregiving. Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in vital signs. Familiarity with systems that support individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform tasks independently while adhering to safety protocols. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their dignity and independence. CPR & First Aid certified.
