In person Duties The CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) provides daily care and support to medically fragile children in a PPEC center under the supervision of licensed nurses. The role focuses on ensuring patient safety, comfort, developmental support, and assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities Assist children with:

Transportation, drop off and pick up Feeding and hydration Diapering and toileting Bathing and hygiene Mobility and transfers Dressing and grooming Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nurses Take and record vital signs Maintain clean and safe patient environments Support therapy and recreational activities Follow infection control and safety procedures Assist with transportation or classroom activities if required Communicate professionally with parents and healthcare staff Requirements Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate CPR/BLS certification High school diploma or GED Level 2 background screening Pediatric experience preferred Compassionate and patient attitude Ability to lift and transfer patients safely Skills Patient care Pediatric support Communication Teamwork Time management Work Environment Pediatric medical daycare/PPEC center Fast-paced clinical environment Work with medically fragile infants and child
