Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic medical team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position requires a strong understanding of hospital medicine, physiology, and various medical specialties, including dermatology and trauma care. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support both patients and healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Assist in triage Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status. Provide support during medical procedures and examinations. Ensure patient comfort by assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility. Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas and equipment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to implement care plans effectively. Educate patients on health management and wellness practices. Perform administrative task, like filling school form ; getting insurance authorization , maintaining patient documentation. Experience Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Spanish is a plus. Knowledge of hospital medicine and physiology is essential. Familiarity with systems used in patient care management is advantageous. Experience or coursework related to dermatology or trauma care is a plus. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
