This vital role involves providing direct patient care, assisting with daily activities, and supporting clinical staff to ensure a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Whether working in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or community settings, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient service and promoting health and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in diverse healthcare environments while making a positive impact on individuals across the lifespan. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting Feeding Mobility assistance Safely assist with transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other mobility equipment Monitor and accurately record vital signs including: Blood pressure Pulse Respirations Temperature Provide medication reminders and report concerns to supervising nursing staff Deliver compassionate care to clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, disabilities, or behavioral health needs Maintain infection control standards and proper aseptic techniques during care Observe and report changes in client condition promptly Complete accurate care documentation within EMR/EHR systems Support clients in home care, post-acute care, outpatient, and community care settings Maintain HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality at all times Promote a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients and families Qualifications Active CNA certification in the State of Georgia Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred Previous experience in: Home care Assisted living Nursing homes Long-term care Private duty care
Knowledge of:
