In this vital role, you will provide essential support to a patients in various settings, taking care of individual development disabilities, assists client with life skills and taking client to YMCA and communities. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of care and comfort for our patients, making a significant difference in their daily lives. Duties As a Nursing Assistant/DSP, your responsibilities will include: Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient health information. Providing support to patients with disabilities and behavioral health challenges. Assits client with life skills, such as laundry, making beds and washing dishes Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient areas. Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Transporting client to YMCA and community activities Must be able to read and write client goals, progress note daily Must be able to take continue inservices . Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Certification as a Nursing Assistant or High school diploma equivalent experience in a healthcare setting. Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred. Must have a clean background, CPR and current TB Skin Test Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic nursing procedures.
