PRN Shift :
Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 5pm
Location:
Travel to patients' homes. Currently covering 6 counties•Bartow, Floyd, Gordon, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray. Delivers personal hygiene and comfort care to patients. Assesses skin condition for potential breakdown and communicate findings to the appropriate personnel. Completes treatments, procedures, and documentation as directed. Establishes and maintains professional interpersonal skills with patients, guests, medical staff, the public, co-workers, and external business associates. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency procedures, fire drills, evacuation procedures, and disaster plans. Communicates patient care or management problems to appropriate personnel. Obtains vital signs per unit policy and reports abnormal findings. Seeks guidance from resource personnel when appropriate and functions professionally during emergencies. Participates in staff meetings, committees, mandatory in-services, and educational programs relevant to the area of practice. Maintains patient privacy and a clean environment. Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated sympathetic attitude toward care of the sick [Required] Ability to read, write and carry out directions [Required] Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job [Required]
Education:
High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]
Field of Study:
N/A Work Experience:
1+ employment experience in home health care or as a nurses aide in an institutional setting [Preferred]
