Job Description

Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), where your compassionate care and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide essential support to nursing staff and deliver high-quality, personalized care to individuals across diverse healthcare settings. Your energy, empathy, and professionalism will help create a safe, comfortable environment that promotes healing and well-being for all patients. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, ensuring timely communication of changes to nursing staff. Support patient care plans by providing basic medical assistance such as medication administration under supervision and performing catheter care when needed. Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Document patient interactions and care activities precisely within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care techniques and behavioral health support. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers, PICU), long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, or home care environments to ensure comprehensive patient support. Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations. Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including Level I Trauma Centers), nursing homes, hospice or palliative care settings, or outpatient clinics. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Prior experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for medical documentation. Demonstrated ability to perform patient service tasks including vital signs collection, medication assistance, catheter care, and infection control procedures. Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine units or urgent care clinics while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards. $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
