The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients. Duties Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Provide support in mobility assistance using a wheelchair. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Engage with patients in meaningful ways to promote their emotional well-being and comfort Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold patient confidentiality at all times. Experience Candidates should possess experience or knowledge in the following areas: Efficient patient documentation. Long-term care experience in nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques. Previous caregiving experience in home care settings or outpatient clinics is a plus.
