Job Description

Amity Care Hospice seeking for a full-time compassionate and caring Hospice Aide (CNA) for the Atlanta Area Benefits for Full-Time employee: Excellent PTO package Paid holidays Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time Health plan, vision and dental 401k Family / Team working environment
Bonus Program Responsibilities:
  • Perform personal care needs of patients in accordance with the plan of care.
  • Assist with personal hygiene including baths, oral hygiene, shampoo and changing bed linens as often as assigned.
  • Provide nutritional support, feeds patients and prepares snacks as assigned.
  • Assist in dressing and undressing patients as assigned.
  • Provide respite for patient/family/caregivers when on-site, as appropriate.
  • Keep patient's living area clean and orderly as assigned.
  • Adhere to the organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
  • Attend team meetings as requested and maintains effective communication with other team members.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Meets the training requirements of Georgia.
  • Has ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given to patients.
  • Must Have a reliable transportation with a valid driver's license
  • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Provides a calm manner when in a patient home.
  • Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired.
  • Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation.
  • Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
