Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities Assist patients and residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly to nursing staff. Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments in memory care or assisted living environments. Maintain infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper hand hygiene practices. Document patient information accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute settings to deliver comprehensive patient service. Qualifications Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program. Experience working in long-term care facilities, hospitals, or home & community care environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs. Prior experience with specialized care such as hospice, infectious disease management, or trauma centers is advantageous.
