CNA/Caregiver

Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of clients, allowing them to maintain their independence while receiving the care they need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, inpatient care, PICU, clinics, medical-surgical units, hospital medicine, or teaching hospitals. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Monitor and record clients' health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with mobility and transportation needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed. Skills Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving. Experience in healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Center, Inpatient care, PICU, Clinic environments, Medical-surgical units, Level II Trauma Center, Hospital medicine, or Teaching hospitals is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as monitoring vital signs and administering medications. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple client needs effectively.
