Job Description

Overview We are seeking dedicated CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and Caregivers to join our team and deliver exceptional in-home care services. In this vital role, you will support clients with their daily needs, promote independence, and ensure their safety and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve through compassionate and professional caregiving. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patient condition through observation of vital signs and overall health status. Administer medications and manage medication schedules following prescribed instructions. Support clients with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice support, and memory care. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and maintain medical records. Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation. Comply with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care tailored to individual needs. Engage in ongoing training on medical terminology, CPR certification, and other relevant skills to enhance caregiving quality. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience in senior care, home health services, or long-term care environments such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly valued. Familiarity with medical documentation systems like EHR or EMR platforms is preferred. A background in caring for patients with complex needs—including hospice care or catheter management—is advantageous. Certification in CPR is required; additional training in medical terminology, medication administration, hospice support, or use of assistive devices will be considered a plus. Candidates must demonstrate excellent patient observation skills, compassion for vulnerable populations, and the ability to work independently while following healthcare protocols.
