Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Wailuku location is a 90-bed nursing facility.The Position:
We're looking for passionate Nurse Aides (CNA) to help us with providing nursing care and services for residents, that include personal and restorative care and activities of daily living. Ohana Nurse Aides (TNAs) orient residents to the unit and facility: Bathroom, call system, shower schedule, and lanai/common areas; introduces to residents at table; informs of meal schedule and snack times; and informs of activity calendar and where activities are held. Nurse Aides (TNAs) respond to resident calls, call bells, call lights, alarms immediately. Responds to family requests immediately. Informs Charge Nurse when required.Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. / Minimum age of 18 Completed State of Hawaii Nurse Aide Training Program Scheduled Prometric exam within 120 days of hire Current and valid 2 Step TB clearance and health review (can be done in-house).The Benefits:
