Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, motivated Medical Assistant or RN to join our team! Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00.Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and collecting pertinent medical history
- Collecting information including weight, vitals, medications and medical history
- Perform lab tests, blood draws etc.
- Scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) for all patients
- Assist with scheduling appointments
- Triage calls
- Prepare and clean exam rooms and medical instruments
- Assist provider with procedures
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize work
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient using EMR
- Organized
Compassionate Education & Experience:
- Degree as Medical Assistant with an active certification as CMA or RMA
- Active license (RN)
- Gynecological experience a plus!
