In this important role, you will provide respectful, patient-centered assistance with bathing and personal hygiene for residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. Your support will help promote comfort, dignity, and overall well-being while enhancing the quality of life for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist residents with bathing and showering , ensuring comfort, privacy, and dignity at all times. Provide support with personal hygiene tasks such as grooming, dressing, and oral care as needed. Observe and report changes in skin condition , mobility, or general health to nursing staff. Follow infection control protocols and proper sanitation practices during all care activities. Ensure the safe use of equipment such as shower chairs, grab bars, and lift devices when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bathing environment. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to support individualized care plans. Document care provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures. Requirements Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting preferred; CNA certification may be required or preferred depending on the facility. Ability to provide hands-on personal care with compassion and respect. Knowledge of basic hygiene, infection control, and resident safety practices . Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers safely. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach. Dependable, attentive, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
