Job Description

Our Certified Nursing Assistants play an essential role in delivering compassionate, resident-focused care within PACHS long-term care communities. As a CNA at PARC Hall, you will support residents with daily living needs while helping maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. You will work under the direction of the charge nurse and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide high-quality care that enhances each resident's comfort, dignity, and well-being. In this role, you will follow individualized care plans to assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, and mobility. You will escort residents to meals, activities, and appointments; respond promptly to call lights; and support restorative and rehabilitative goals during daily care. You will record intake and output, track weights, document daily cares, observe and report any changes in condition, and support resident and family needs with professionalism and empathy. Your responsibilities include contributing to a positive and home-like environment by participating in meal assistance, assisting with morning and evening care routines, helping residents with comfort measures, and supporting safety and infection-control practices. You will adapt to changes in care processes and technology, maintain required system access, and participate in ongoing training and in-service education. This role requires strong communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate approach to caring for older adults. Candidates must be high school graduates or hold a GED (or be currently enrolled in high school), have an active or eligible CNA certification on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry, and hold current CPR certification. Basic computer skills, the ability to work flexible hours, and a commitment to maintaining required credentials are essential.
